All credits must be submitted to the state before you can renew. CEWisconsin uploads your credits to the state on published dates each month (the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 23rd, and daily through month-end). You can verify your credits are banked at SBS/NAIC.
Step 2: Go to www.nipr.com.
NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) is where all Wisconsin insurance license renewals are processed online.
Step 3: Log in or create an account.
You'll need your license number (NPN) and personal information to access your record.
Step 4: Select "Renew a License" and choose Wisconsin.
Follow the prompts to confirm your personal information and license details.
Step 5: Pay the state renewal fee (~$40).
NIPR accepts credit/debit cards. This fee goes directly to the Wisconsin OCI — it is not a CEWisconsin charge.
Step 6: Save your confirmation.
