The Upload Schedule: Know the Deadlines
After you pass your test and the electronic proctor affidavit is received, I upload your credits to the state on a set schedule. Here are the upload dates each month:

Tests taken in the last few days of the month risk not being transferred to NIPR in time for you to renew your license before your expiration date. This is a limitation of the state's processing system, not mine. I upload on schedule, but the state needs time to process the data. Do not wait until the final days of the month if your license expires at month's end.
After your credits are uploaded, you can confirm they've been banked at SBS License Manager. Once your credits show up, renew your license at www.nipr.com (cost is about $40).
RUSH Processing: When Every Day Counts
Priority 24-Hour Submission — $19.99
When you're down to the wire, RUSH processing bumps you to the front of the line. For $19.99, your credits get priority 24-hour submission to the state, bypassing the regular upload schedule.
Is it worth it? If your license expiration is days away, absolutely. When your livelihood depends on staying licensed, $19.99 is the best insurance you can buy.

Finding a Proctor Fast
Proctor Requirements at a Glance
Wisconsin law requires a disinterested third party to proctor your CE test. Here are the rules:
- Cannot be: your boss, spouse, employee, or anyone with a family or financial relationship to you
- Can be: a friend, neighbor, fellow agent, coworker from a different department, or really any adult who isn't related to you or your business
- Does NOT need to be a licensed insurance agent
- Proctor must be present during the test to verify no outside assistance
- Both you and your proctor sign an electronic affidavit after you pass

The proctor doesn't need to understand insurance. They just need to sit there while you take the test and confirm you didn't cheat. The whole thing takes about 20 minutes of their time. Most people are happy to help when you explain it's just watching you take a test.
What If You Fail?
First, let's be honest: this probably won't happen. CEWisconsin's pass rate is 96.4%. The tests are fair, based directly on the course material, and you have the material right in front of you while you study.
But if it does happen: unlimited free retakes, no waiting period. You can retake the test immediately. No extra charge. No shame. Just try again. I believe in you!
The 70% passing score is achievable. The questions are multiple choice and drawn directly from the course material. Read the material, take the test, and you'll almost certainly pass on the first try.
